Privacy Policy

• What you give us: your name, email, phone number, and the vehicle and service details you share through our contact and quote forms — such as make, model and year, your preferred service and appointment date, and any notes.
• What's collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, via the analytics tools described in Section 3, where enabled. Our forms also process and record your IP address and browser for spam protection.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

We use this information to:

• Respond to your quote request and arrange your detailing appointment
• Prepare for the job, confirm your booking and follow up once the detail is complete
• Improve the website, using aggregated analytics
• Meet our legal, accounting and safety obligations under Canadian law

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Emails we send you (such as quotes or invoices) include an unsubscribe link you can use at any time.

We use essential cookies the site needs to work (such as remembering your cookie consent choice). Where analytics are enabled, we also use first- and third-party cookies for Google Analytics 4 (traffic and page-usage stats; individual IP addresses are never logged — see how Google uses this data or opt out) and Microsoft Clarity (behavioural metrics, heatmaps and session replay; sensitive inputs such as passwords are masked and not recorded — see the Microsoft Privacy Statement).

When you answer the cookie banner we keep a record of that choice as proof of your consent: the choice itself, when you made it, which version of this policy and banner you were shown, your browser type, and your network address with the final part removed so it no longer identifies your device. We keep it for 36 months and use it for nothing else. Your choice is re-confirmed at least every 13 months.

We use a small number of service providers to host this website, store form submissions in a secure database, protect our forms from spam, send our email, and provide the analytics above. These providers store and process personal information in the United States, where it may be subject to lawful access under US law. For questions about our service providers outside Canada, or a copy of our written policies about them, contact our Privacy Officer (Section 6).

We keep quote and booking information for as long as needed to provide the service, support repeat bookings and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it. You can request earlier deletion at any time, and we will delete your information unless the law requires us to keep it.

Under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), you can ask what personal information we hold about you and how it is used, ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email contact@shineonwithprince.com and we will respond within the timelines PIPA requires — usually much sooner.
